From The $123 Classic To The $2,300 Ultimate, The Air Jordan Book Is A Collector’s Dream

The Air Jordan phenomenon is for the history books. Now, it’s an actual book. Jordan Brand and Assouline Publishing proudly announce the Air Jordan Book, an outstanding documentation of Air Jordan history and the surrounding culture that drew on the magic of Michael Jordan’s greatness.

Needless to say, the Air Jordan Book is a collector’s must-have. Marking the 40th Anniversary of Air Jordan, this book is divided into six chapters to honor each of MJ’s championship rings. Inside is a full-fledged testimony of the G.O.A.T. and how he changed the global culture around sports and fashion for forty years and counting.

Air Jordan Book contains a foreword by Michael Jordan himself and text by author Adam Bradley. The cover of the Classic edition features MJ’s iconic Jumpman pose shot by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz; this photo had never been published until now. The Ultimate edition features an elegantly designed clamshell exterior with Baroque-style detailing.

There are two editions of the book–the aforementioned Classic for $123 and the upscale Ultimate for $2,300. The Ultimate is limited to just 1,000 hand-numbered copies. The book will be available exclusively through Assouline.
