The adidas DON Issue 7 Takes On A Dusky “Preloved Violet” Gradient

It’s championship or bust for the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2025–26. Following a second round exit last year, the team has come in with honesty, humility, and focus to begin their latest push toward a title — realizing they haven’t gotten it done despite finishing near the top of the Eastern Conference in each of the last four seasons.

For Donovan Mitchell, the journey toward his first ring continues in the DON Issue 7, his seventh signature model with the Three Stripes. Here we have a “Preloved Violet” colorway featuring a compelling, easygoing gradient upper — a potential option for Sacramento Kings forward Keegan Murray, who frequently wears Donovan Mitchell shoes. The collar, lining, and shrouded tongue (a la the Converse SHAI 001) come in black, while the sole mirrors the gradient seen across the base.

The adidas DON Issue 7 “Preloved Violet” is due out Holiday 2025 for $110 in men’s sizing. See official images below and hit our Sneaker Release Dates page to browse more upcoming adidas basketball shoes.
