The New Balance 1906R Lights Up An Energetic “Mercury Red” Colorway

Women's and Grade School sizes release soon.

The New Balance 1906R Lights Up An Energetic “Mercury Red” Colorway

Depending on the model and how you style it, all-red sneakers can be a real hit or miss. If you’re willing to take that chance, though, you might find a winner in this upcoming New Balance 1906R.

Official images showcase an attention-grabbing Mercury Red mesh base, with the same vivid hue extending across the overlays, N-lock logo border, and ABZORB cushioning pods underfoot. The rest of the shoe — including the lining, heel counter, and midsole — appears in a deeper Classic Crimson for contrast. The sneaker recalls a similar 1906R from New Balance’s recent “Desert Heat” collection, albeit without any black or white treatments.

The New Balance 1906R “Mercury Red/Classic Crimson” releases November 6th, 2025 in Women’s ($155) and Grade School sizing ($110). Your local Foot Locker might have pairs on shelves early (mine does). See official images below if you’re thinking of copping, and check back to our Where To Buy section for purchase links on release day.
