LaMelo Ball and the Charlotte Hornets continue on their path back to postseason contention in some form of fashion> Sadly, injuries have hampered that journey for both the “Gen Z superstar” and the team that largely goes the way he does, but there’s never any shortage of motion when it comes to his footwear empire. The PUMA MB.05 has stamped itself as possibly the most expressive in a signature line that wasn’t lacking that aspect by a long shot.

Beyond that performance arm, Ball also supports a duo of lifestyle silhouettes, the latest ebing the PUMA LaFrance RNR. Bringing outdoorsy, and in the Big Cat’s words, “dystopian” aesthetics into LaMelo’s oeuvre, many of the looks that’ve graced the RNR to date have broken from the animated atmosphere expressed elsewhere in the “1 of 1” universe, but the latest circles back to what we’ve come to expect. Doused heel to toe in rosy shades, the PUMA LaFrance RNR “Poison Pink” almost presents a running mate for the MB.05 “World Tour,” only interrupting its vivid pink exterior layers with a more delicate tone down the midline.
