Those who pay attention to the Jumpman empire need no reminder of A Ma Maniere’s plum position within Beaverton. James Whitner’s brand has fostered a prolific relationship with Jordan, picking up access to their most treasured retro silhouettes in the process and applying a refined design language to each. Via early leaks and info, we’ve known that they’d usher in a new numbered Jordan into their canon at the end of 2025 with the A Ma Maniere Jordan 6, but evidently, another busy year for AMM will close with a two-pack as the A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 4 “Dark Mocha” comes to light.
A shoe that we’ve similarly known of since 2025 began, it eventually took a month into its Holiday 2025 window to actually catch a glimpse of the shoe. Given their deep archive of co-designed output, we and the sneaker public at large have acquired a rather keen sense of what the DC-based brand gravitates toward. Indeed, “Dark Mocha” suede on the exterior marks something of a divergence from the “Dusty Mauve” home base of the brand, but it isn’t entirely unexpected given their love for tonals. What appear to be black leather laces only bolster that refined air, as do quilted liners in deep red and dark grey midsoles.
Notably, it’s Atlanta rapper Reese LaFlare who provides our first look at this shoe, sharing this splayed-out arrangement and an on-foot shot with the caption, “Did the Campaign for these upcoming Maniere 4s and 6s.” If the multi-hyphenate’s information is true, the A Ma Maniere Air Jordan 4 “Dark Mocha” will be dropping alongside (or at least in proximity to) the Air Jordan 6.
