Sneaker News Steph Curry will very likely be a Warrior for his entire career, but his affiliations in the sneaker business are not longer in the “lifer” category. After parting ways with Under Armour last week, the four-time champion has been dabbling in different shoe brands for the first time since 2013. Although he’s sticking to his Under Armour footwear for the games, he’s beginning to rotate footwear from one-time competitors in the market.
Last week, he started it off by wearing the Kobe 6 Protro “Mambacita” for pre-game shoot-around, instantly inciting rumors of Steph x Swoosh reunion. Now, he’s turned his attention to another all-time legend with the Reebok Shaqnosis, a mid-1990s basketball model that is easily the most recognizable in the Diesel’s shoe history.
Steph was spotted wearing the Shaqnosis briefly on his way into the locker room, quickly changing them out for his Curry 12 signature shoe. Again, it seems likely that he’ll continue to wear his own model for games as the shoes are likely tailored specifically to him.
