Andrew Rizzo adidas has been pushing the Superstar heavily in 2025, led by collabs with fresh names like Sp5der and Hellstar and supported by a wide cast of mold-breaking inline styles. At the same time, the Three Stripes remains focused on strengthening its dominance in the soccer space, supplementing the ubiquitous Samba with sneakers that borrow design cues from the archives, particularly from the iconic Predator boot line. Now those two focuses are coming together with a Predator-inspired women’s Superstar, shown here via official images.
The Superstar’s iconic three stripes are here replaced by sharp triangular overlays reminiscent of the original Predator cleat from 1994, adding an aggressive, almost menacing edge to the shell-toed street staple. The overlays and backtab echo the spirit of the 90s in “Silver Metallic,” while a black croc-skin leather base adds a premium touch (albeit not tied to either model’s history).
