The woven upper returns.

Nike Golf Is Dropping An Air Max 95 For The Waste Management Open

The Waste Management Open in Phoenix, AZ is widely known as the wildest stop on the PGA Tour, more of a party destination than the buttoned-up, traditional golf tournaments rooted in the sport’s past — and more reflective of the direction the sport is headed today. Last year, Nike Golf marked the occasion with takes on the Roshe Run and Pegasus 89 silhouettes. Looking ahead to next February, Sergio Lozano’s Air Max 95 is coming into focus as the silhouette of choice.

Official images show a woven upper made from perforated leather, canvas, and hairy suede, bringing back a true “love it or hate it” Air Max 95 construction reminiscent of the Footscape. Most of the sneaker is dressed in off-white tones, but brown leather placements with dress-shoe-style detailing on the tongue and spine nod to traditional golf footwear — perhaps offering some commentary on the WM Open’s non-traditional reputation. A brown leather hangtag with tassels accompanies the shoe, and a thick green Swoosh on the lateral side ties in with the center portion of the outsole (and the Waste Management logo by extension).

The Nike Air Max 95 has been defined by the “big bubble” in recent seasons, but this golf version maintains a slimmer midsole and Air unit similar to that of the Air Max 95 Ultra. The key golf-specific upgrade is the enhanced tread pattern underfoot.

The Nike Air Max 95 Golf “Waste Management Open” releases Spring 2026 via Nike SNKRS, likely just ahead of or during the tournament in early February. See official images below if you are planning to cop.
