Those tuned into the Kobe Bryant shoe scene in the 2010s likely need little introduction, but the “Perspective” was one of several Kobe 9 Elites designed to honor the Mamba’s artistic inspirations. This pair draws from Pablo Picasso’s Blue Period and originally released alongside two other high-tops: the “Detail,” which nods to Leonardo da Vinci, and the “Inspiration,” which Kobe wore in his first game back from his Achilles injury.
The 2025 Protro faithfully translates the defining elements of the original into the low-top Elite silhouette. The multicolor geometric pattern here shifts into more of a supporting role, placed above black carbon fiber sections on each side. The upper comes dressed in bold Neo Turquoise, complemented by Volt accents on the Swooshes, Flywire cables, inner tongue lining, and Kobe logos. A Midnight Navy sock liner concludes the upper, while a pale blue outsole lands underfoot.
