Justin Bieber’s lifestyle label SKYLRK just opened its first physical retail location with a three day pop-up in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, running from December 4th to December 7th. Headlining the space is the debut of the Earth Bender, a new shoe co-created with 3D footwear company Zellerfeld.
Zellerfeld is steadily climbing the footwear ranks through collaborations with Nike on models like the Air Max 1000 and Air Max 95000, along with a growing lineup of fashion partners. Bieber is scaling SKYLRK at a similar pace, rolling out new slip-on styles while inching closer to full-on sneakers. Thus, a fusion of the two makes perfect sense.
The Earth Bender uses a low profile silhouette with oval detailing and an extended tongue that calls to mind staples like the adidas Samba. Early teaser images of other upcoming SKYLRK footwear hinted at a soccer-adjacent direction, and the Earth Bender stays on that track. The debut pair comes in a “Lilac” colorway that breaks from Zellerfeld’s usual bright orange, red, and blue palette.
The pop-up also carries an updated range of SKYLRK slip ons, highlighted by a “Hailey Grey” Rest Slipper created by Justin’s wife, supermodel Hailey Bieber. Models like the Rest Slide and Beach Slide are also available alongside a lineup of apparel and accessories like the viral joint phone case.
The Earth Bender and the rest of the collection are available now exclusively at the SKYLRK pop-up in Japan, located at 6142, 6-14-2 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, from December 4th through December 7th. No online release details have been announced.
