The New Balance 2010 Swirls Up A “Tornado” Colorway

Not a Kith collab.

The New Balance 2010 Swirls Up A “Tornado” Colorway

Finding a way into the “sneaker of the year” conversation is pretty much the best brands can hope for when it comes to new lifestyle models. The New Balance 2010 has already checked that box, thanks in part to a standout two-pair pack from Joe Freshgoods and, depending on your taste, the KITH collaboration that helped introduce the model earlier this summer.

While the silhouette is still better known for its collaborations than its general releases, New Balance has several compelling inline styles lined up for Spring 2026 and beyond. Here we have a new greyscale makeup dubbed “Tornado,” a nickname most associated in the NB world with Ronnie Fieg’s exclusive 990v3 from a few years back. It’s another grey New Balance sneaker, sure, but skews far darker than the Boston brand’s hallmark Made in USA shade. Dark blue ABZORB pods in the heel break up the greyscale flow, paired with matching blue branding and outsole accents.

The New Balance 2010 “Tornado” releases Holiday 2025 for $160 in men’s sizing. See official retailer images below and visit our Sneaker Release Dates page to browse more upcoming NBs.
