The Nike KD 18 Gets “Snowed In” For Christmas

The ever-important Christmas sneaker has been a key ingredient in signature basketball shoe lines ever since Kobe Bryant wore his iconic “Grinch” Nike Kobe 6 nearly a decade and a half ago. And with eighteen signature models with the Swoosh to his name, Kevin Durant’s line has delivered more than a few memorable holiday pairs, the KD 6 “Christmas” and cookie-cutter-inspired KD 4 “Metallic Copper” to name just a couple.

The latest chapter in Durant’s Christmas lineage arrives via the KD 18 “Snowed In,” part of a larger Nike Basketball holiday pack that also includes models like the Ja 3 and several others. A light blue mesh base and sockliner set the foundation, followed by a subtle snowy texture applied to the Terra Humara-inspired overlays. Light green outlining traces the sides and inner tongue, while a green-to-red gradient outsole with glittery snowflake detailing adds festive flair underfoot. The most meaningful detail may live on the tongue, which features new snowglobe-inspired branding.

The Nike KD 18 “Snowed In” aka “Christmas” appears on BSTN’s release calendar for December 19th, though it’s worth noting that most other Nike Christmas releases are scheduled for December 26th. Retail is set at $155 USD. See official retailer images below if you’re planning to cop.
