S.R. STUDIO Brings The Vans Future Clog For The Holidays

The first couple chapters of Sterling Ruby’s partnership with Vans through his eponymous label S.R. STUDIO have focused almost exclusively on translating his vision through color, delivering printed and monotone takes on a range of Vans icons. But experimenting with shape is where the sculptor truly thrives. Enter the Vans Future Clog, a new model designed by the internationally known artist set to release in fresh colorways for the holidays.

The Future Clog features a design that inevitably draws comparisons to a Tesla Cybertruck for the feet. Its primary structure takes on a rectangular, chunky form defined by a flat forefoot and toe, plus sharply sculpted side lines that loosely reference a traditional Dutch clog. Inside sits a separate, slimmed-down house clog that attaches into the larger outer shell, creating a layered, modular construction.

Joining the green and grey Future Clogs in S.R. STUDIO’s December capsule is a brand-new silhouette called the Authentic Prima, a slim-soled reinterpretation of the classic Authentic in the same vein as models like Bad Bunny’s adidas Ballerina. A structured toe cap pairs with a full-grain leather upper, while Vans’ Sola Foam ADV cushioning supports the package underfoot. Rounding out the lineup is a black and beige microcheck Authentic accented with reflective logos and finished with Vibram soles.

The new S.R. STUDIO x Vans collection drops December 16th via vans.com/otw. See official images of all the styles below if you are planning to cop.
