When it comes to sneakers, eventually you learn to be surprised. After all, if someone sat you down at the start of 2025 and asked for your hottest takes, could you have drummed up that a BMX athlete would be leading year-end conversations, New Balance would have some of the buzziest products in the fashion space, or that Steph Curry and Under Armour would cut ties?

Maybe it’s not as shocking as any of those top-line items, but the reformatting of the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 from everyday street option into tank-like winter titan is one that we wouldn’t have predicted unprompted. As that story stretches into a second winter, the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Roam is building out a tan/dark grey layout. That heavy emphasis on neutral tones in unsurprising for cold weather wear, but it’s the flares of orange that we’re finding some cross-category synergy, offering up almost an ACG-like overall palette.

The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Roam should be touching down toward the top of 2026, commanding its usual $190 sticker price.
