But as 110 fans know, the “Grape” formula has long served as a jumping-off point for alternate takes. Joining a deep lineup of similarly-accented Air Max 95s over the years is a new black edition for Spring 2026, shown here via official images.
Court Purple and Dusty Cactus accents establish the “Grape” connection, though their placement differs significantly from the OG. Dusty Cactus appears on the big bubble Air unit and eyelets, while both hues work in tandem across the Swooshes, tongue branding, and the core of the outsole. The rest of the design is anchored by an Iron Grey-to-black suede gradient, complemented by black hits on the tongue, lining, and midsole.
Nike has released several “Grape”-adjacent Air Max 95s over the years, including an “Aqua” colorway in 2018 and an “Alternate Grape” in 2010 to mark the silhouette’s 15th anniversary, a pair that’s now highly sought after. The closest predecessor to the pair we have before us today dates back to 2013, though there are a few key differences.
