Drake Brought Nike, NOCTA, And Chrome Hearts Together

A sign of things to come?

Drake Brought Nike, NOCTA, And Chrome Hearts Together

The Iceman cometh? Not until 2026, evidently, but Drake is still making headlines even without delivering his ninth album. As part of his ongoing deal with online casino Stake, Drake is hosting three straight days of livestreams, and day one delivered a true heavyweight in the footwear world.

The Toronto native showcased Chrome Hearts editions of his “I Love You Forever” Air Force 1 and his “Total Orange” Nike Nocta Hot Step 2, making good on the brand’s trademark silver touches. Though tough to make out in this on-camera reveal, it appears additional silver embellishments on the eyestays and down the laces of either pair are the touches that bring the Chrome Hearts energy. These two overhauls follow a more earnest collaboration between all three brands, as a line of realtree apparel was dropped for VIPs at their Aspen flagship.

The full story isn’t complete, of course, without mentioning the Chrome Hearts Jordan Jumpman Jack that Travis Scott pulled out for his Utopia Tour. As easily two of the most famous Swoosh signees and given the continued crossover between the luxury brand and hip-hop, it wouldn’t be a shock if they were the sole beneficiaries of custom gear. On the other hand, perhaps this is a sign that the luxury goods company could be building towards an earnest Swoosh crossover — we’re living in a post Dior Jordan 1 world, after all.

Catch first look stills from Drake’s giveaway stream included below; he’ll be live again on December 22nd and 23rd. If you take the rapper and BennDaDonnn at their word, Monday’s event will feature a giveaway of the Chrome Hearts x NOCTA x Nike Air Force 1 and Hot Step 2 featured in this piece.
