adidas Brings Minecraft Mobs To A Just-Released Holiday Capsule

An end of year addition to this clash of icons.

adidas Brings Minecraft Mobs To A Just-Released Holiday Capsule

If you had doubts about Minecraft’s status as a truly dominant IP, maybe the pixelated world’s jump onto the silver screen was enough to convince you. Given that, adidas’ relationship with Minecraft remains a valuable asset, something they’ve hit the ground running with since the partnership came to light at the top of 2025.

A fresh capsule has now hit the adidas site, following the announcement of “Three Stripes City” within the game itself. We’ll (naturally) begin on the tangible footwear end of things, where steady adi staples like the Campus, Samba, Superstar, and Handball Spezial enter the gray. The Samba XLG takes after the ineffable Creeper, coated in its hi-alert green with the requisite dose of blocky graphics and a gum sole to link back to mainline offerings. The Handball Spezial sports flame graphics to align with its “Ghast” theme, made concrete with a depiction of the flying monster on the laces.

The Superstar belongs to the Ender Dragon, most apparent in smaller sizes where a winged cage accompanies the shoes themselves. Finally, the Campus coats in “Eye of Ender” black and green, while the adilette Slide coyly takes after the “Drowned” mob to match its amphibious purpose.

Shifting to the digital realm, the Three Stripes City add-on is now available for download, free of charge. In addition to a slew of adi-specific new blocks, the “expansion” also pitches in a range of unaffiliated features, with mobs like sloths, butterflies, monkeys, and anteaters arguably the splashiest contribution.
