Putting aside “shoe of the year” consideration, hype, or resale value, anyone who’s paid attention to sneakers in the past 12 months could diagnose two of the Swoosh’s foremost internal priorities: celebrating of the Nike Air Max 95 and stamping the brand as driver of soccer aesthetics, chiefly through the Nike Total 90 III SP. With the Nike Air Max 95 “Neon” already in the works for a ’26 restock and the World Cup looming, smart money is on neither initiative slowing down.
Further, official brand imagery now confirms a mesh point between the two missions. The Nike Air Max 95 cooks up two colorways nodding to the hallmarks of the Total 90, immediately evident with the encircled “95” emblems on the tongue just before the heel. The retro typeface utilized on the pitch-turned-lifestyle icon additionally gets a nod with similar “AM95” and “Air Max” spell-outs imprinted onto the cushioning and heel, respectively.
On an aesthetic level, utilizing eye-catching reflectives across these two colorways taps into the turn-of-the-century design language that the converted cleat champions, as a “Metallic Silver/Black” or the more nocturnal “Black/University Yellow” execute. For a final flourish, checkered insoles carrying either pair’s two primary shades redouble the crossover branding, while also delivering a split soccer ball/globe icon.
Only images of the Nike Air Max 95 “Total 90” in GS sizing have surfaced to date, but we can confirm that adult sizing is on the way for this two-pack as well.
