Nike ACG is rooted in making footwear built for the great outdoors. Once the technical boxes are checked, though, the brand has never been afraid to have a little fun, often leaning into playful colorways and occasional design concepts that make you do a double take for the right reasons.
The Nike ACG Rufus, a slip-on silhouette originally designed for camping and light hiking in the early 2000s, here continues its modern revival with an Ash Burgundy style featuring some unexpectedly whimsical details. The clearest thematic hint appears on the insoles, which feature stitched graphics of vintage ice cream bowls. That inspiration carries through the upper, complete with Ash Burgundy fabric and stitching akin to embroidered table linens.
These don’t have an official release date yet, but a Spring 2026 launch seems most likely. Check out official images below if you’re as intrigued as we are.
