The Big Bubble Nike Air Max 95 Orders A “Velvet Brown” Dessert Course

A ladies-exclusive version of the model's defining look.

The Big Bubble Nike Air Max 95 Orders A “Velvet Brown” Dessert Course

“I’m not leaving!” is what we imagine the Nike Air Max 95 might’ve said as the clock struck zero on its 30th anniversary. Rather than receding into the shadows following its full-fledged, year-long time in the sun, mainline editions are set to keep the “Big Bubble” legacy charging forward well after the air leaves the balloons.

The focus on the model’s iconic gray gradient is even stretching into the New Year, as the “Pencil Point” and “Granite” variations already have confirmed. For some just-adjacent shine comes the Nike Air Max 95 “Velvet Brown,” taking the ombre concept popularized by the “Neon” and adding a blush diffuse filter over top of it. the resulting shoe goes from the barest pink to the deepest brown across the sidewalls, mixing up a “Neapolitan” style tri-tone through the rest of the shoe. For a link back to more traditional colorways, the “Big Bubble” cushioning holds onto the aquatic blue tint it’s worn plenty before.

The Nike Air Max 95 “Velvet Brown” has already hit select global channels, while a Nike.com release is expected on January 13th, 2026 for $200.
