Despite plenty of fresh silhouettes, the trendiest Nike model of the past few years hasn’t been a new one. It’s been the 2011-born Nike Vomero 5, revived for the modern day through updated styling and, in the process, both benefiting from and helping push the mesh runner wave. Whether 2026 ends up being the year the tech runner trend finally cools off remains to be seen, but as we enter the new year, consumer demand and Nike’s output suggest its key players aren’t going anywhere just yet.
Here we have a new men’s Vomero 5 in “Black/Court Purple/Hyper Grape” coloring – think Saints Row, the Baltimore Ravens, and that one scrapped Nike SB Dunk High from 2008 the brand doesn’t talk about. Purple mesh pairs with black overlays featuring metallic silver detailing, complemented by additional purple hits on the laces and Cushlon foam underfoot. Pretty nice.
The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 “Black/Court Purple/Hyper Grape” releases Spring 2026 via Nike in men’s sizing. Retail is set at $170 USD. See official images below if you’re moved to cop a pair.
