The Nike Shox Z Shimmers For The “Year of the Horse”

The “Year of the Horse” is upon us, and in Beaverton’s run of show, everyone from the Air Force 1 to the Nike Kobe 8 is getting in on the action. Yet it’s not only the well-established names that are gearing up. The Nike Shox Z, minted as a merger between the product line’s newfound fashionability and low-pro trends dominant in women’s footwear, is only getting trendier as it ushers in its own CNY edition.

Sharing a lot of DNA with a distressed suede Shox R4 that recently hit the shelves, this pair’s chief selling point is one of contrasts. Ruffled textures sit above the shoe’s synthetic upper foundation, pocked with pearl accents one layer above, before adding a glossy silver Swoosh. If these special edition touches weren’t enough to convince you, a “2026 Year of the Horse” emblem stamps the narrative clear on the insoles.

The Nike Shox Z “Year of the Horse” is dropping in women’s sizing as part of the Spring 2026 slate. Concrete dates for this and the rest of the “Year of the Horse” collection haven’t been revealed yet, but official images have. Check those via the gallery below and keep our Sneaker Release Dates page within reach for more info.
