Andrew Rizzo The adidas Samba is probably past its modern peak given just how much it’s been meme-ified in recent years, but it remains one of the sneaker world’s top sellers and a key pillar of adidas’ terrace category. Here we have an upcoming women’s style that might very well be tied to Valentine’s Day, taken with the colors of love and some eyebrow-raising panel alterations.
Eyes are first drawn to the T-Toe, where the panel is reworked with three layers of contrast stitching and multiple abstract curves on each side. The heel undergoes a similar transformation, with the base foregoing its rounded finish in favor of a squared-off edge and flame-like tips on each side. As for the material mix, the upper begins with a Pink Spark suede base overlaid by Shadow Red leather stripes. The tongue, eyelets, and toe cap are made from Shadow Red suede, while the quintessential brown gum Samba sole caps off the design underfoot. We’re led to believe these might be a Valentine’s Day sneaker given how close we are to the holiday, although there’s no telling sign beyond the palette used.
The adidas Samba “Pink Spark/Shadow Red” releases Spring 2026 in women’s sizes via adidas and retailers. No price has been announced as of this writing, but it’s possible the shoe could retail above the model’s standard MSRP given the alterations at play.
