Andrew Rizzo The New Balance 1000 will soon be two years back on shelves, continuing to hold over “dad shoe” aficionados with plenty of new inline styles season after season since coming back in early 2024. Here we have a fairly bare-bones Black and Castlerock grey colorway set to stock shelves in the near future.
The 1000 has taken on several black and black-adjacent builds during its renewed run, including a “Black Cat”-esque suede look as well as a bandana-inspired atmos exclusive that was arguably the model’s best style to date (just one man’s opinion). Castlerock leather combines with black mesh and suede here, complemented by subtle blue hits on the heel “N” logos and midsole.
These should drop soon via newbalance.com and retailers in unisex sizing. Expect a retail price of $155.
