Hiroshi Fujiwara Reveals Fragment Design x Nike Mind 001

Following the successful launch of the Nike Mind 001 on January 8th, the Swoosh is ready to enter the next phase of the new silhouette’s official roll-out.

The neuroscience-backed mule has just been revealed by Hiroshi Fujiwara in a black/blue colorway as an upcoming collaboration between Nike and Fragment Design. The double-bolt logo by the Japanese pioneer is seen on the toe as well as the insole of the shoes, while the in-step appears modified from the original perforated version. Fragment Design further stamps its arrival thanks to the trademark royal blue, appearance with gusto on the 22 nodes on the bottoms as well as the insole graphics.

Hiroshi Fujiwara’s collaboration with Nike also adds technical specs via lettering on the midsole; on the Mind 001, this Fragment Design is labeled as “concept testing” while noting a Spring 2026. This could mean that these are a mere sample, but a full series of Nike Mind 001 collaborations would be a welcome twist on what is considered a performance-first footwear model.

As of now, a release has not yet been confirmed, but we do know that the Nike Mind 001 is expected to restock soon, while the Black/Crimson pairs of the 001 and 002 are expected to launch in early February.

Fujiwara’s Fragment imprint will continue to stay busy this quarter as they have not one, not two, but three different Air Jordan 1s dropping in partnership with Union LA.
