Crocs continues to make their mark on “The Happiest Place On Earth.” Given the Colorado company’s cachet with parents and children alike, linking up with Walt’s company is arguably among the most natural in their vast Rolodex, something that’s prompted a spree of collaborative efforts in past years. Zootopia, Frozen, Moana, Snow White, Alice in Wonderland, The Little Mermaid, and a laundry list of other properties have already graced the footwear giant’s designs.
Now, Disney and Crocs are returning to their core characters for a fresh collection, enlisting Mickey Mouse and friends for new editions of the Classic Clog. Indeed, the Mouse pins his classic black/red/white on his pair, with his retrofied modern design sitting right atop the toe. Goofy and Minnie quickly follow suit, applying their iconic outfits faithfully with pops of trademark type across the straps. Importantly, Minnie earns two editions, one in white/red and one in pink/white, either one maintaining the polka dots she’s known for. Finally, in an unexpected move, Chip and Dale round out this set, continuing the true-to-screen concept with furry, plush exteriors.
