The Jordan Spiz’ike Low Casts A “Thunder” Colorway

Updated January 20th, 2026: The sneaker are available now via the Nike website.

The Air Jordan 4 “Thunder & Lightning” Lifestyle Series pack from 2006 is an important part of Jordan Brand’s story for multiple reasons. A theme inspired by Michael Jordan’s motorcycling team, combined with the pack’s limited nature, made for two instant classics, both of which have remained widely-known thanks to retros in the current decade.

While the “Lightning” saw its first and only retro in 2021, the “Thunder” has been brought back twice, first in 2012 and then again in 2023. It’s also served as a jumping off point for a few other plug-and-play, black-dominant styles like the “Red Thunder” and “White Thunder” over the past few years. Now we have reason to discuss it once more as the Jordan Spiz’ike Low has surfaced in a like-minded “Thunder” colorway of its own.

This is an in-bounds look for the Spiz’ike given the Air Jordan 4 is one of the several models that make up its hybrid composition. Black netting looms over a Speed Yellow quarter a la the “Lightning” 4s, while the toe and heel are made from black and Speed Yellow elephant print. The rest of the upper features black suede and nubuck, while the accent color returns on the lace lock, backtab, and all other branded hits.

The Jordan Spiz’ike Low “Lightning” should release soon via Nike.com and select retailers. Expect a retail price of $165 USD.
