Prisms On The Pitch: The Nike Total 90 Goes Iridescent

What consumers and the fashion-forward curated as the “soccer moment” is soon to become inescapable (if it wasn’t already). The three-country 2026 World Cup, even if it’s a few months away at the time of this writing, will force brands across the landscape to meet the moment with as much product as possible.

The Nike Total 90 III SP is already set up to be one of the big winners of that endeavor when it comes to Nike. Converted from an earnest performance sneaker to a lifestyle one, it’s often the more experimental editions that makes that far-flung new life most evident, as is the case for this “Iridescent” leather take pictured here. While the model’s asymmetric composition and low-pro sole remain in place, the color-changing finishes up top set this far apart from actual pitch versions, and only enhance the newfound fashionability of the Rooney-approved silhouette.

The Nike Total 90 Iridescent is likely to officially touch down as one of the Swoosh’s Q1 offerings, dropping sometime between the start of the year and March. However, early launches via retailers have already gone down, with some stockists still holding onto pairs. Check our “Where To Buy” widget for direct pick-up links; retail is set at $115.
