On a partnership standpoint, they’ve secured LISA of Blackpink, one of the biggest global stars who despite her massive success has only scratched the surface.
Lalisa Manobal’s resume speaks for herself; she’s one-fourth of the biggest pop group in the world, stepped into acting with her role in the smash hit third season of White Lotus, and is a bonafide solo act that commands sold-out arenas across the globe. Undoubtedly among the most influential figures in pop culture, LISA quickly elevates Nike’s presence among girls and young women who fin her fashion, activity, style, and expression inspirational. While details surrounding the partnership have not been revealed, Nike confirms a multi-year deal with Lisa. Collaborative releases are likely, while her own sub-brand akin to Drake’s NOCTA seems very possible.

Can you share a core Nike memory, or your most memorable Nike shoe or a piece of apparel?
During my trainee days before Blackpink, and even before that, I would only wear clothes that were good for dancing, like tracksuits, really big T-shirts, and sneakers. I remember I saved my allowance to buy a pair of Nike Dunk Highs for training. I was so young, so that moment and those shoes will forever be one of my most vivid Nike memories.Can you tell us about what goes into your training routine today?
I dance a lot! Long dance sessions are my main workout. But if I’m not performing or learning new choreography, I’m doing Pilates. I’ll focus on stretching and light cardio, and overall fitness. For me it’s about staying energized for everything I do. The one thing I need more of is sleep. I sleep a lot on planes.How does fashion help you express your identity on stage and beyond?
Fashion is a way to show my individuality and be confident. So,whenever I travel or go on world tours, I look at what kinds of clothes people wear. Just seeing how people dress in different parts of the world inspires me.Why are you excited to partnering with Nike?
