Another season, another set of Forces. If you’re among the silhouette’s most dedicated fans, that likely describes your personal motto as well as it does Nike’s general release strategy. That alignment means that new, cleaned-up colorways of the Uptown are always in heavy supply, particularly as Spring approaches and the model’s white-focused major comes back into vogue.

In truth, this version breaks from what we’ve grown accustomed to seeing on retail shelves, chiefly with off-white “Sail” uppers rather than the pure eggshell that’s paced the model’s post-2000 lifespan. Additionally, colored heel tabs, Swooshes, and outsoles align with another inventive touch, as contrast stitching in the same “Rose Gold” runs throughout this pair.
