Tyrese Maxey Confirms New Balance Signature Shoes Coming In 2026

Being named an All-Star starter means you’re winning games, carrying teams, and gaining the popular vote. These are minimum criteria for becoming a signature athlete, which is why New Balance is ready to take that next step with Tyrese Maxey.

The high-scoring guard for the Sixers has officially taken over the reigns of Philadelphia’s process, ascending from late in the first round of the 2020 draft to the heights of All-Star starter for a franchise that is serious about championship contention. First signing with New Balance in January 2023, Tyrese Maxey quickly became the face of the Boston brand’s youth movement–a crucial element to their budding basketball brand. He’s been rocking the TWO WXY series since day one, but later this year, he’ll be wearing his own New Balance signature shoe.

Details surrounding the first model are scarce. At this juncture, the official name of the shoes let alone images of the model have not yet surfaced. We do know that the shoes will very likely be a low-cut style model, which is a standard for high-speed scoring guards. While not confirmed, it’s possible that Maxey could debut the shoes during the 2026 All-Star Game, so stay tuned.
