The Air Jordan 4 may have usurped Mike’s first signature as the hottest model in the Jumpman universe, but a cursory glance at the 2026 Jordan Releases calendar reveals that the AJ1 is just as much of a force as its ever been when looking at the totality of what’s in store. The start of teasers for the Union Fragment Jordan 1 paired with the Travis Scott “Pink Pack” ensures that the silhouette will be a factor in this year’s most coveted releases, while pairs like the one at hand provide a more accessible heartbeat below.

Now officially revealed and queued up on the Swoosh’s various online sites, the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Medium Olive” marks the first bonafide Retro release of the year for the model. Potentially a lower variation on the Retro High pulled from the slate in 2024, the broad strokes from what we expected in that higher sibling remain here; earthy green overlays and white leather backing. The return of the “Big Swoosh” provides jet black interplay, and a faux-aged off-white sole unit adds some trendy flash to close. Already cited as “Travis Scott shoes” at home, there’s no denying the potential runoff effect that La Flame’s catalog has on this shoe, joining “close but no cigar” releases like the Air Jordan 1 “Mocha.”
