We’ve got Air Max 95s for skating, now meet Air Max 95s for hiking. Sergio Lozano’s best and most widely known sneaker appears to have caught the Nike Boot bug, here presented in an all-new style reimagined through the lens of traditional hiking boots.
We’ve come to expect relentless innovation and reimagination from Nike, but even we’re sometimes taken aback by the ways the brand chooses to freshen up its retro product. The Air Max 95 here shifts into an all-new upper consisting of a textured, molded synthetic material, treated with laser etching for definition. Perhaps even more notable are the lace loops, or lack thereof. The model’s traditional fabric loops are removed and replaced by six metal hooks on each side, offering the clearest signal of the style’s hiking intention. The outsole retains the same traction as the normal version, but the new molded upper is undeniably more weatherproof than suede/leather builds. The tongue and insoles both feature encircled “95” numbering in place of their usual branding, and the spine drops its “Nike Air” in favor of a plain Swoosh. Granted, those changes feel a bit like afterthoughts in this case.
The sneaker is part of a larger Air Max 95 “Family Reunion” pack for Spring 2026 alongside the perforated “211” style for South Korea. @110slad reports that South Korea, North America, Paris, and China will each get their own designs, although it isn’t exactly clear which locale this hiking iteration is tied to.
We’re currently expecting a release on February 19th, 2026 via Nike SNKRS. Retail for these is set at $200 USD. See official images below if you’re considering scooping.
In other Nike news, the Air Max 90 is the latest sneaker to join the “Realtree” lineup.
