The Parra x Vans Old Skool 36 has already started the brand’s 2026 on a hot note, continuing a scorching streak for the silhouette and whetting palates for further high-profile pairs like a fresh set of “inspired by” Chanel Vans Authentic colorways and the looming Satoshi Nakamoto Era 95.
In an unexpected update to that just-passed drop, images of an alternate Parra colorway have just hit the ‘net. It’s a far more nocturnal counterpart to what Vans and Parra paired for on the public version, no doubt due to the black contrast sole but also for moodier tones in the suede uppers, splitting between an orange heel patch, teal collars and tongues, and deep blue in the remaining real estate.
Though this particular pair is a surprise, this sample/exclusive playbook is one that Vans and Parra first developed with their Half Cab; the publicly available pair took on a more cleaned-up arrangement than the one handed to friends of the brand.
If you’re not in that inner circle, you’re likely left to secondary market sources to get your hands on this pair. However, we can still window shop regardless of our connections; take a look at this alternate Parra x Vans Old Skool 36 and its packaging below.
