The NBA intelligentsia has surely spilled more ink on LeBron James’ personal battle, but Kevin Durant is faring well in his own bout with Father Time. Recently named to his 15th All-Star Game, a feat only 7 others have matched before him, his longevity with Nike is almost equally deserving of celebration.

Shifting to a more icon-recognizing perspective on his recent oeuvre, borne out via the Air Max Plus on #17 and the Terra Humara on the KD 18, has paid dividends in delivering some of the more well-accepted of his double-digit models. With the “Coconut Milk” at hand, forested hues are in focus, crucially developed with a pine green outsole and neutral uppers, the latter most effective with a patch of suede running from collar to collar. Silhouette hallmarks like “EA$Y” embroidery on the inside tongues and ECG/”heartbeat” graphics on the insoles remain. Overall, we can’t help but draw some parallels to the “Sanddrift” colorway from earlier in the silhouette’s run, sharing the earthy overall prompt developed here.
