First Look At The Nike Liquid Max

As we noted with our coverage of the Nike Air Max 95 “Neon” celebration, early indications, as Air Max Day crept on the horizon, were that an archive-digging spotlight on the 110’s most iconic colorway would be the height of Visible Air for 2026. Of course, there was always the possibility that the best was still in store, and as sneak peeks at the Nike Liquid Max begin circulating, it appears they kept a massive one under wraps.

Two of Nike’s buzziest collaborators bring us whispers of this silhouette, first coming to light on Yeat’s feet in his “Made It On Our Own” video alongside EsDeeKid. Shortly afterward, Fragment Design’s Hiroshi Fujiwara posted snippets of his own blacked-out version.

The “Liquid” aspect of the model is immediately evident; inky droplets appear in abstract clusters underneath the foot, presenting somewhere between the slick propulsion of the Vapormax and the tightly wound Dynamic Air of the DN8. In looks at the Fragment pair, we’re able to make out that a thin rubber outsole cradles each of those droplets before connecting back to the upper on the heel. Thin welting connects that platform to a mesh upper, adding a matrix of synthetic containment.

Just these two color options, a fitting “Neon”-like style, and Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Fragment link-up have been revealed at the time of this writing. This may be, indeed, the new face the Swoosh will introduce on Air Max Day (March 26th), but we’re ultimately holding judgment for the moment. We can confirm a $230 MSRP for general release pairs.
