Some shoes in the Jordan Retro catalog cast a broader shadow than others. Doubtlessly, that’s best represented by OG editions, which inspire their own lineage of spinoffs. Yet kicks like the Air Jordan 4 “Thunder” have a progeny unto themselves, that colorway spawning the “Red Thunder,” “White Thunder,” and, come this Holiday season, the Jordan 4 “Pink Thunder.” Even if it’s less than a decade old, the ripple effect of the Levi’s Air Jordan 4 is still felt in the modern landscape, no doubt planting the Air Jordan 4 “Iced Carmine” in that series.

Now revealed via official images, the Air Jordan 4 “Iced Carmine” obviously deserves discussion in that context for its denim uppers, something it can cite 2025’s “Worn Blue” as a previous inspiration for. Like that drop, this pair stamps a women’s-only exclusive run. Given the comprehensive pink treatment in the uppers, running through both the aforementioned denim underpinnings and a swatch of suede on the mudguard, it’s hardly a surprise. Translucent wings and heel tabs only help to highlight that rosy choice, while the brand cranks up the “faux-aging” dial to 11 with a Pale Yellow sole unit. Finally, we had spotted the shoe’s overall colorway as early as December, but this clarifies a delicate overhaul of the shoebox, replete with white speckles on its base.
