Fast forward 18 years and the recovery footwear category is absolutely booming, making it a fitting time for Nike to remind competitors who was ahead of the curve to begin with. The Air Rejuven8 is back, this time with a handful of lifestyle-friendly makeups to complement its still-relevant comfort and recovery tech.
This upcoming “Sequoia/Light Khaki” colorway perfectly captures the model’s updated role. Several new textures are introduced, including impasto-style paint across the midsole, piled fabric on the pull tabs, and a gauze-like mesh material used on the inner booties. The breathable honeycomb cage remains unchanged, appearing in Light Khaki to contrast against a Sequoia green midsole. Two removable booties are included so as to provide some different styling options.
