Among the rarest and most coveted Foamposite releases ever created is the Air Foamposite One “Tianjin.” Originally produced as a hyper-limited drop celebrating the vibrant basketball culture of Tianjin, China, the sneaker quickly became a grail among Foamposite enthusiasts, commanding some of the highest prices the model has ever seen on the secondary market. The design itself remains rooted in the storytelling that made the first pair so special. The signature Foamposite shell is covered in traditional Chinese-inspired graphics that infuse the lotus flower and carp fish. There are also elements of Fuwa, the official mascot featured throughout the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The Tianjin Foamposites dropped only in China, making it one of the most sought after Foamposites ever created.
While the original Tianjin Foamposites pair leaned into black accents on the lace collar and interior, the leaked images introduces crisp white detailing that gives the shoe a brighter overall appearance while maintaining the spirit of the original.
