Made famous by Scottie Pippen, the Air More Uptempo ’96 is here given a lively “Pink Blast” colorway for women. The titular hue washes over nearly the entire upper, with the only contrast arriving by way of black hits on the model’s unmistakable “AIR” lettering.
The Air More Uptempo ’95 has carried the torch during its successor’s roughly year-and-a-half absence, but the return of the ’96 doesn’t necessarily mean the former is going anywhere (multiple styles of both models are already lined up). This “Pink Blast” Uptempo ’96 reads as Nike having a clear pulse on what the streets want, delivering a loud, unapologetic women’s colorway on a silhouette that’s long resonated in culture-driving cities.
