Betty’s latest design breakdown centers on a duo of quilted Slip-On Premiums, both available now via the Vans website. He cites the Don C x Air Jordan 2 “Varsity Royal” from 2015 as a key design reference, that shoe tracing back to a women’s Chanel bag. It’s worth noting that Betty now works at Jordan Brand, though he hasn’t been officially tied to any recent or upcoming Jumpman releases.
Despite the shared blue tones of those inspirations, the Vans duo consists of black and pink colorways featuring navy and brown interiors, respectively. Quilted stitching covers the forefoot and heel, while high rubber foxing adds both durability and a refined finish.
