The two brands revive their longstanding partnership with new sentimental edge.

Supreme Adapts The Work Of Mike Kelley For Vans SS26 Release

Few contemporary artists offer the blend of opaqueness and influence that Mike Kelley did. The late Michigan-born iconoclast famously resisted definition and leaned into found object aesthetics, ironically something that made his work absolutely singular and whose ripple effects can still be felt in the world of alternative art. In 2018, Supreme, perhaps noticing some similarities in their overall brand ethos, paid homage to the then recently passed multi-hyphenate by enlisting the foundation created in his honor.

Some eight years later, the two are reunited as Supreme’s Spring/Summer 2026 schedule trots on. While faithful adaptations of his artwork appear across the usual range of tees, hats, and hoodies, the notable step forward for our purposes is folding Vans into the mix. The Era, an anniversary shoe for the California company, and the Half Cab earn starring roles here. Beginning with the former, a bright and a darkened look each nod to Kelley’s “Memory Ware” mosaic series, serendipitously aligning with the charm-heavy aesthetic the skate imprint has embraced. For the Half Cab, the same references are intact, but their applications differ; the artwork sets the foundation before more traditional overlays encase it one layer above.

The Supreme x Mike Kelley x Vans collection releases on April 16th via Supreme online and in-store. An Asia release follows on April 18th. Retail pricing hasn’t been confirmed just yet. Catch on-white shots of the four shoes included via the gallery below.
