The return of the Nike Zoom Hyperflight hasn’t followed the usual retro script so far. Rather than reissuing original colorways, Nike is exploring more interesting avenues by paying homage to the names and institutions that defined the hoops scene during its heyday. First came a general release of the Nike Zoom Hyperflight “Jason Williams” PE, supported by an activation featuring White Chocolate himself at NBA All-Star Weekend. Now we’re in for a collaboration with SLAM Magazine, part of a larger Nike Basketball collection for Fall 2026.
Shared on Instagram by SLAM alum Nick DePaula, the sneaker draws directly from the publication’s logo with a Safety Orange leather upper. SLAM branding lands on the tongue and heel, while the outsole and lightweight exoskeleton are finished in Smoke Grey.
The SLAM x Nike Zoom Hyperflight is part of a larger Nike Basketball pack, set to release alongside a matching GT Cut 4 and Sabrina 4. All three are currently expected to drop on August 15th. Check out detailed images of the Hyperflight below if you’re considering copping.
