Andrew Rizzo We’ve lost count of how many new lifestyle models New Balance has introduced over the past few seasons. In short: it’s a ton, spanning new use cases for ABZORB tech, fresh hybrid makeups, slim-soled tech runners, and retro makeups rooted in basketball heritage. Now a new category enters the mix with the New Balance TF100, a lifestyle-oriented silhouette that pulls in the tech and comfort benefits of some of the brand’s top runners.
The TF100 stands out with a sculpted, propulsive FuelCell foam midsole, split into two halves with an open section at the midfoot. That engineering is even more apparent on the outsole, which features a continuous rubber piece along the forefoot and lateral side, plus a smaller pod at the medial heel.
Multiple TF100 styles have already trickled out, including black and brown inline looks and a black and white collab pack by Junya Watanabe. The GR pairs feature a sleek mix of suede, leather, and mesh paneling, complete with reflective “N” logo cutouts pressed into the sides. The Junya pairs swap our suede in favor of leather on the sides, also ditching the cutout in favor of line-art “N” branding.
The black New Balance TF100 is available now via the New Balance website for $140, while the brown pair is due out April 29th. The Junya Watanabe collab has already released via select EU retailers, embedded further down the page.
