If it wasn’t already clear, Kobe Brand has all but confirmed the Kobe 3 Low Protro will be a key pillar moving forward. The model is set to headline this year’s “Mambacita” release, once again aligning with Gigi Bryant’s birthday on May 1st.
Retailer images show a black and white colorway inspired by Gigi’s Mamba Academy uniform, accented by gold “Gigi” text at the heel. In a word, these are dressy. Black patent leather wraps the toe and heel, complete with wingtip-style serrations that frame an all-white TPU net. Kobe Brand’s “Mambacita” drops have historically spotlighted priority models, including the Kobe 6, 4, 8, and 9 thus far. The Kobe 3 Low Protro fits right into that lineage, with confirmed looks including the Kobe 3 Low Protro “Atomic Pink”, Jalen Brunson’s “Arancia” PE, and more likely on the way.
