Yet it’s not only the Swoosh hanging decorations. adidas has just unveiled a commemorative version of the adidas Superstar coming to the WNBA players that tote the Three Stripes onto the hardwood. Coated in trademark white and orange, the Shell Toe takes on pearlized and bedazzled siding, a knowing nod to the traditional gifts handed down on any three decade anniversary. Already on the way to brand trailblazers like Candace Parker and current stars like Satou Sabally, Chelsea Gray, and Hailey Van Lith, special edition packaging adds affirmations on a plastic shell insert to go with marbled box exteriors.
