Is there redemption yet for James Harden in the postseason? It’s been more up than down in the Eastern Conference Semis, and as the icing on the cake, he’s remained red-hot in the realm of sneakers. His Harden Vol. 8, 9, and now 10 have been among the halcyon examples of adidas Basketball’s renewed shine, blending futuristic aesthetics with the performance aspects befitting a player of James’ caliber.

In this double-digit iteration, the Three Stripes has taken the silhouette into farer-flung directions, fully embracing a collaborative atmosphere via links with Willy Chavarria, Nipsey Hustle’s The Marathon, and BSTN. Yet its the bread-and-butter GRs that have forged the shoe’s legacy, often relying on split blocking between the bootie interiors and harder exterior shells. That scheme plays out on the shoe’s latest, a “Supernova” variant landing square in the silhouette’s back half. Beyond the neon green and black overtones that take up most of this pair’s real estate, an additional hi-vis flash comes with orange traction underfoot.

Again, expect the Harden Vol. 10 “Supernova” to hit shelves on May 16th, commanding the stock standard $160 in adult sizing.
