As the WCF tips off, that’s unchanged: the latest in a lineage that now includes two full leather executions in the “Ink” and “Steel” is the snakeskin “Slither.” Though SGA has teased color blocking experimentation with two-tone PEs, each of these “Premium” steps keep to flooded concepts while still advancing the ball all the same. Crackly, true-to-life rattlesnake textures dance through the uppers and are finished with more conventional olive tonality in the collars and outsoles.
We’re likely to see the man himself debut the Converse SHAI 001 Premium “Slither” on court in Game 1, but the Thunder season will be in the rear view by the time these hit the market.
