Six weeks after Nike officially unveiled the fourth model, we finally have a look at a brand new and upcoming colorway of the Nike Sabrina 4. While the model itself is not expected to officially launch until July, the New York Liberty accidentally (or perhaps intentionally) offered fans a sneak preview of a previously unseen pair through a recent team workout posted on Instagram.
Up until now, the Sabrina 4 had remained heavily guarded by Nike Basketball following its official debut back in April. The only publicly known versions are the bright green as well the throwback-inspired colorway tied to the New York Liberty classic uniforms. That makes this newly surfaced “Desert Pink” edition the very first fresh colorway reveal attached to the upcoming signature model.
The shoe itself fully embraces vibrancy via the rich Desert Pink shade that dominates nearly the entire upper, while a striking neon yellow Swoosh cuts sharply across the side panels. Additional bright pink accents further amplify the energetic palette on the partially translucent midsole.
As women’s basketball continues its explosive rise in popularity, Sabrina Ionescu’s signature series has quietly emerged as one of Nike Basketball’s most important modern franchises, but it’s about to meet some new competition with the debut of Caitlin Clark’s signature shoe as well as Paige Bueckers’. Still, the Liberty superstar heads the pack while the WNBA basketball shoe scene continues to mature.
