Anthony Edwards’ no-holds-barred confidence is one of many reasons he’s beloved by fans, but if there’s one bold Ant claim worth truly believing, it’s that he could have gone pro in football had he not specialized in basketball. Ant was considered one of the best running backs in the country at ten years old, an early sign of the athleticism that would carry him to the #1 pick in the NBA Draft less than a decade later.

It’s natural, then, that Ant’s adidas line has expanded onto the gridiron, with adidas recently introducing a football cleat version of the Anthony Edwards 1 Low. This “Atlanta Vikings” colorway nods to the youth team where Ant honed his skills, featuring a black upper with Semi Solar Green on the honeycomb structure and heel branding. Purple laces are the clearest and pretty much only “Vikings” tie-in.
